Christian Wittrock, Aarhus University (Denmark), is a visiting scholar working at the Chair of the Sociology of Work at the Goethe-University, Frankfurt (2012-2013). In addition he is an affiliate of the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO), Goethe-University. His current research focuses on the management concept commonly referred to as LEAN, originally developed in post-war Japan. He also recently co-authored a major work on mentor schemes in organisations (Poulsen & Wittrock 2012).
Wittrock holds a BA in the History of Ideas & Sociology from Aarhus and Aalborg Universities, a BCom in Business Administration from Aarhus Business School and an Advanced Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from OCM/ Oxford-Brooks University. He has a business background and has worked many years in management consultancy.
